Shopfront’s Bodylines Ensemble returns to the stage for the world premiere performance of Umami this September

Young people with and without disability share the stage in a unique new work made by Shopfront’s 2017 Bodylines Ensemble. The Bodylines Ensemble have been creatively investigating the foods we like, dislike and why food emotionally connects to us all.

The ensemble will delve into discussions around the food they regularly eat and enjoy… and ultimately question themselves. They are weaving their explorations into a humorous take on a reality TV show cooking competition, investigating the presentation of food in popular culture.
