PLAYWAVE EXPERIENCE

Learn to DJ & perform live!

Playwave is giving you a unique opportunity to join Joseph O‘Farrell (JOF) for an out-of-this world DJing workshop where you will:

• Curate playlists for Sydney Festival dance parties
• Generate activities and choreography for dance parties
• Learn DJ skills
• Learn tech operation
• Attend an artist info session about putting on live music events, touring and opportunities within the arts and music.

These workshops are FREE when you purchase your Sydney Festival Sideshow Pack, and are suitable for 15-18 year olds.

Each participant would need to attend 2 workshops : 9 & 11 January, 4.30-5.30pm.

EXCLUSIVE TO PLAYWAVE MEMBERS

ALL Playwave members who purchase a Sydney Festival Village Sideshow Pack through Playwave and attend the DJ workshops will be invited to perform as DJs at Shopfront’s Voices & Visions at 107 projects. Voices & Visions is curated by young people and emerging artists from Shopfront Arts Co-op, and presents a mix of performance, theatre, visual arts, video installations, and music.

Your Sideshow Pack is only $20 and includes entry to a virtual reality Ghost Train, Karaoke Carousel, and entry to JOF’s 10 Minute Dance Party. If you want to be part of our DJ team at Voices & Visions, you must be available to DJ a spot at 107 Projects between 19-21 January.
