Mickey’s journey since 2017 has seen a huge tonal step forward for the Sydney-based producer, singer and engineer with the distinct presence of live instrumentation in his records pricking up the ears of Majestic Casual, triple j and Sirius XM who have all heavily supported his releases in the past 18 months. This workshop is a must for any producer wanting to take the production approach beyond the laptop.

Sydney/Ibiza house devotee Beth Yen makes her EMC ACADEMY debut presenting a House & Techno Remix Workshop, in collaboration with two other producers. Remixing an iconic record reflecting EMC’s ‘The Future of Yesterday’ theme, the House & Techno Remix Workshop will demonstrate the journey of creating a remix from initial parts to finish.  Joining Beth to host this workshop is Brux, who although only launching as an artist in 2018 has already had two singles released on Australian powerhouse label etcetc, and is fresh back from the Red Bull Music Academy in Berlin.

Legendary mix and mastering engineer Klaus Hill hosts a workshop honing in on perfecting the studio process of Recording Vocals. With decades of experience as a producer releasing on the world’s biggest electronic music labels and as mix and/or mastering engineer for Pnau, Peking Duk, Set Mo, Made in Paris, Will Sparks, PACES and countless others – you can be sure that Klaus has all the hacks to guarantee laying down the perfect vocal for your record.
